´Muslim Mental Health Matters Report´ by the Lantern Initiative

In June 2021, The Lantern Initiative collaborated alongside Muslim academics to launch a national survey to understand the experiences and attitudes of Muslim communities toward mental health support. The report summarising the survey findings of 926 respondents is intended to inform community mental health support provision and to provide a resource for other Muslim-focused mental health organisations, faith-based counselling organisations, mosques/Islamic centres and clinical commissioning groups. The landmark report identifies some key issues and challenges as well as highlighting hard hitting statistics in relation to mental health in Muslim communities in the UK.
