On Wednesday 1 March 2023, we held our Valuing Every Mind Roundtable on Muslim Mental Health in Schools, bringing together practitioners, experts, academics and policy makers to the table, to discuss and learn from each other, to better support Muslim mental well-being.

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation, run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. Happening every year, it’s a day for communities to come together to talk, listen and change lives. On Time to Talk day 2022, we launched the Muslim Mind Collaborative – a conversation with our partners on shaping the future of Muslim mental health collaboration.
Markfield Institute launches their Wellbeing Centre
Where traditionally research has been conducted about Muslim communities, the Centre for the Study of Wellbeing´s vision is to create spaces within which Muslims can lead on their own narrative and set the agenda in terms of how wellbeing is defined and measured for Muslim communities, particularly within pluralistic context.
Round Table Discussion on Muslim Children in Care

NHS Muslim Network on Mental Health and Faith
The NHS Muslim Network’s Mental Health & Islamophobia webinar highlighted that mental health is very misunderstood in the Muslim community and the cause for this is believed to be due to several reasons ranging from lack of knowledge and understanding to stigma and shame.
