MMC delivered a session on Faith, Culture, and Mental Health in the Workplace for This Can Happen Global half day conference. The session highlighted the challenges faced by Muslim communities in accessing mental health services, emphasising the impact of Islamophobia, cultural barriers, and the need for faith-sensitive care.

The session focused on data concerning Muslim mental health, and it’s relevance to, and the impact of, schooling on young Muslims. MMC also presented details of the free toolkit devised to help schools in their journey towards faith literacy and cultural competence.
