West Sussex Mind is an independent mental health charity affiliated with national Mind, providing support to people of all ages throughout West Sussex. The organisation is currently undertaking a focused project to reduce health inequalities for individuals from minoritised communities, including addressing barriers to accessing support. West Sussex Mind is exploring how to better meet the needs of diverse communities, and where appropriate, connect individuals with culturally competent services that may be better suited. Through MMC, they aim to enhance collaboration and improve inclusivity in mental health service delivery.
